Directory Enquiries and Call Connect 
The phone book is a phone call away!

If you're out and about and in need of a number, call Directory Enquiries and we'll read the number to you or SMS it to your phone. Even more, if you don't have a pen handy, we can connect you to that number with Call Connect.

With access to literally any number in the world, Directory Enquiries will keep you on the move.

How do I get it? 
Directory Enquiries and Call Connect are available to all MTN subscribers. There is no activation or subscription fee. 

How does it work? 
Dial 200 from any MTN cellphone and speak to the operator. For Call Connect, ask the operator to connect you to the number of your choice. 

What does it cost? 
Directory Enquiries is a premium rated service call and will be billed at the rates given below. If you ask the operator to connect the call to a third party, a Call Connect charge of R1.00 (R0.88, excl. VAT) will be levied. Once the call is connected, the original Directory Enquiries call will be terminated, and you will then be billed for the call connected to the third party. The charge is dependent on the destination of the call and the price plan.

PayAsYouGo and MyChoice TopUp price plans will not be charged for the Call Connect service. The full duration of the call is billed as a premium rated call.

With Call Connect, your cellphone Call Register will not have a record of the forwarded number. You can, however, request an SMS showing the number to be sent to your cellphone, and to get connected to the number of choice.

Operators are not allowed to give out the street address associated with a phone number. Rather request the number and use Call Connect to get the address directly from the other party.
