| A | With MTN Pay As You G0 you have two options - VoiceMail and VoiceMail Lite:
With VoiceMail you will be able to record your own personal greeting and to interact with your callers more personally. Not only that, but this way you can make sure that people know they have reached the right number. MTN will send you an SMS displaying the date, time, number and urgency of the calls that you missed.
With VoiceMail Lite you do not need to dial 100 to set up your VoiceMail box or to listen to your messages. MTN will send you an SMS displaying the date, time, number and urgency of the calls that you missed. There are no messages stored as Voicemail, therefore no retrieval is necessary.
For Pay As You Go subscribers, if your Voicemail was inactive - no messages have been deposited and / or retrieved in the last 30 days - you were automatically switched over to Voicemail-Lite. You can switch between Voicemail and Voicemail-Lite at any time by dialling 141. |

| A | Setting up a VoiceMail PIN ensures that only you can listen to your messages from a landline or abroad. You will be asked to enter a password of 4-7 digits. Choose one you will easily remember.

| A | FaxMail is only available to Contract Subscribers. Your Fax Number is 08314 + the last nine digits of your MTN cell phone number. MTN will send you and SMS to notify you of your Fax Messages. You can retrieve your Fax Messages by dialling 100 and following the voice prompts, which allows you to forward the fax to the nearest fax machine to you.

To retrieve your messages from a land line, just dial 083 100 and enter your Mailbox number. Press # followed by your PIN.
After you have entered the password, you will be given the same options as when you dialled 100 from your phone.
To change your VoiceMail PIN for security reasons you can dial 120 at any time.
Note that you will be charged normal cellular rates for this method of Voicemail retrieval within South Africa. If you are dialling into your Voicemail while in another country, you'll need to dial +27 83 1000 000. You'll then be prompted to enter your cell phone number, followed by your password. You can also dial *111# and the voicemail system will call you back. Package rates including international rates will apply when dialling into your Voicemail from another country.

| A | MTN has launched a new Next Generation Messaging Platform that offers many new VoiceMail features with a high degree of customisation to VoiceMail users. All VoiceMail subscribers will be migrated to the new platform and will be notified by SMS during each step of the process.
