ATM Airtime Purchase Promotion 

THE PROMOTION:

  • Participation in this promotion is subject to these terms and conditions, which will be interpreted by the Promoters in their sole discretion, and their decision regarding any dispute will be final and binding. All information relating to this promotion published on any promotional or advertising material in any media at any time before or during the promotion period will form part of the terms and conditions of entry.
  • The promotion will run from 23 July 2010 and will end on 11 September 2010 (‘the promotion period”) at participating ATM’s when you see the notice and promoter in front of the ATM.
  • This promotion is organized and prizes are sponsored by MTN / ABSA and FNB (“the Promoters”) and is open to any live, natural person who is 16 years or older and resident in South Africa during the promotion period.
  • Directors, members, partners, employees or agents of or consultants to the Promoters, or their sponsorship agency, or spouses, life partners, parents, children, brothers, sisters, business partners or associates of such persons are not eligible to enter the promotion and cannot win prizes.
  • You may enter as many times as you like by purchasing at least R30.00 MTN prepaid airtime at participating ATM’s when you see the notice and promoter in front of the ATM.
  • By entering and accepting a prize, all entrants give consent to receive various marketing and advertising promotions via SMS or MMS relating to the promotion.
HOW TO ENTER & AWARD OF PRIZES:
  • To enter, purchase a minimum value of R30.00 MTN Prepaid airtime at any participating ATM during the promotion period ONLY at specific times when you see the notice and the promoter in front of the ATM and collect your prize from the promoter at the ATM. You have to show proof of your purchase to the promoter. Times for entry will vary according to when the notice is up at the ATM. If the promoter and box with the notice is not at the ATM, that ATM is not participating in the promotion at that time.
  • All participants in the promotion must be 16 years or older and must be able to produce a valid South African Identity document and be RICA compliant if and when requested to do so.
THE PRIZE:
  • There are a limited number of prizes consisting of various promotional items to an average value of plus minus R7.00 Including Vat.
  • One prize per purchase.
  • The prize is not transferable and may not be exchanged for cash amounts.
CONDITIONS OF ACCEPTANCE:
  • Winners will be required to produce proof of their airtime purchase in order to get a prize.
  • The ineligible winner will have no claim against the Promoters in any event.
  • The Promoters’ decision is final - no written / verbal communication will be entered into.
  • By accepting the prize, the winner agrees that the Promoters will be entitled to publish their name and photograph at no cost or remuneration, in any advertising, promotional, print, point of sale or public relations material for a period of 12 (twelve) months from the end of the promotion period.
INDEMNITY AND WAIVER:
  • By entering and accepting a prize, the participant agrees to the following:
  • The Promoters, their directors, affiliates, members, partners, employees, agents, consultants, suppliers, contractors and sponsors assume no liability whatsoever for any direct or indirect loss or damage, howsoever arising from or as a result of a participants’ participation in the promotion.
  • The Promoters reserves the right at any time prior to the end of the promotion period, to vary the nature of the promotion or the prizes or to vary these terms and conditions or to withdraw the promotion. In such event, all participants hereby waive any rights that they may have against the Promoters and hereby acknowledge that they will have no recourse or claim of any nature whatsoever against the Promoters, their directors, affiliates, members, partners, employees, sponsor, agents or consultants.
  • Any amended terms and conditions published in any media will form part of the terms and conditions of the promotion, to which terms entrants agree the promotion is subject.
