This agreement ("the addendum") shall form part of the Subscriber Agreement entered into between the subscriber and MTN SP. The terms and conditions applicable in the Subscriber Agreement shall mutates mutandis apply in this agreement.
The Subscriber applies and instructs MTN SP to activate and load the Me2U post-paid to prepaid Rand value transfer service, a value added service designated by MTN SP on the terms and conditions stipulated hereunder.

This value added service facilitates the transfer of a Rand value from postpaid (contract) packages to prepaid and hybrid packages. The value transferred along with the transfer fee will be charged to the postpaid subscribers invoice and will not deplete any value associated with the post paid tariff plan. This package option is only available to post paid customers (contract customers) who are active on the Network.

There are three (3) product options available and which are dependant on the value of the postpaid contract of the subscriber. The following Me2Uproducts will be allowed on the following price plans:

MTN SP reserves the right to vary the above limits at its discretion and if and when it has done so, the said new limit shall only become applicable after (3) three days.

4.1 |
The transfer amount may be any variable Rand value from a minimum of R30.00 (VAT included) and no cents may be transferred. The recipient shall have a daily and monthly maximum limit of the Rand value received.

4.2 |
The reception limits shall be as follows for the Hybrid and prepaid recipients:
4.2.1 Daily limit of R200 and
4.2.2 Monthly limit of R500 per Billing cycle

5.1 |
A subscriber can only have one Me2U product option active at a time. If a subscriber wishes to change to a different product option, the current product option must be deleted before the new option can be activated. A new activation agreement must be signed by the subscriber to give effect to the changes |

5.2 |
In order to delete and add a new option, application must be made through MTN SP at no further charge to the subscriber. The new option will only become active after a 24-hour of application, at no extra charge |

5.3 |
The change in product option must be requested at least 24 hours before the next Bill run date |
| |
5.4 |
In the case of a SIM-swap, the Me2U product will not have to be reloaded
In the case of a Dual call, the product can only be loaded on the primary SIM card

| 6. |

6.1 |
The Billing limit shall not be adjusted pro rata in relation to the time of the month that the product was first activated on the subscribers account |

6.2 |
If the subscriber's service is suspended or outgoing calls barred, his/her Me2U account will be simultaneously locked; therefore the transfer of a Rand value to hybrid and prepaid recipients will be barred |

The transfer amount credited shall be VAT inclusive
A transfer fee of R0.50 (VAT inclusive) shall be charged every time a transfer is made, irrespective of the amount transferred and this fee shall be included in the Me2U limit allowed |

6.5 |
The invoiced amount shall include the amount transferred to the recipient and the transfer fee per transaction (VAT inclusive). The total amount of each transaction shall be subtracted from the total amount available for transfer per month on the Me2U product option |

6.6 |
No minimum amount of credit is required of a subscriber to make a Me2U transaction, as long as the daily/monthly limits are not exceeded.

| 7. |
ME2U subscribers migrating from one postpaid plan to another, will retain the current Me2U product on the new price plan on condition the new price plan allows the postpaid to prepaid or hybrid Rand value transfers.

| 8. |
MTN SP shall not be liable to the Subscriber for any loss or damage suffered by the subscriber, and whether same is direct or consequential, in the event of: |

8.1 |
Erroneous transfers, such as sending Rand value to the incorrect mobile number or transferring the incorrect amount, MTN SP will accept no liability, and no reversals will be made in respect thereof |

8.3 |
No credits will be passed in the event of any failed transactions
MTN SP shall not accept liability for the unauthorized use and transfer of Rand value of any of its subscribers |

8.4 |
It is the sole responsibility of the subscriber to guard against any unauthorized use of the service, and |
| |
8.5 |
MTN SP shall not carry any liability for any excess amount transferred by the subscriber over and above his/her Bill limit, if a transfer is made at a point when the subscriber is already close to the Bill limit. It is the Sole responsibility of the subscriber to ensure that when a transfer is made, it is within the subscribers Bill limit, and shall not exceed same

MTN SP reserves the right to reject any Me2U product application
MTN SP reserves the right to deactivate any Me2U product at any time for any postpaid subscriber with immediate effect and without notice |

Any Me2U transaction shall not be added as part of any discount given to any subscriber |

MTN SP shall only activate a subscriber's request upon receipt of a duly signed agreement
Subscribers shall not transfer airtime using the Me2U product to customers of any other telephone service provider but to MTN SP prepaid customers.
